The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen. Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention.... A loving silence often has far more power to heal and to connect than the most well-intentioned words.

Linda, this is so true. May I add my great niece who is now in her second year and has severe Cystic Fibrosis,
I did have a thread at one time, but whilst I have been ill since last September, much better now I seem to have missed it.

Prayers for everyone is part of my quiet Time each day.

Spanish Eyes and Teresa
Thank you both for adding

I do remember your great niece Spanish Eyes and had added to your thread.

I did have a daily thread of thoughts, but like yourself when unwell didn't keep it going. The last one I could find was New Years Day.

But I hope to keep this going, it was started by a Lynn who had "Thoughts for Today", but was ill herself and left the site.
I hope she is better as we haven't heard about her for a long time.

I have just remembered somebody else very special to add our friend Daff.

Thanks agin
