More & more people want to pay by electronic transfer now Bob, but the only way to find out if they have paid is a premium rate call or a 14 mile round trip to the bank or worse still wait till the end of month statement. |

A couple of my customers get a free text every morning telling them their current balance, their with Lloyds, does anyone now if Barclays do this, i can do telephone banking with them but it's a premium rate no & you have to listen to about three minuets of waffle before you can speak to a human being. |
