Jean, so sorry you have had such a struggle to get sorted out and hope you can rest and ease your back till you start on any more sorting and putting away. It's a struggle for me to get down to kitchen cupboards especially the back of them so I am sure it was harder for you.
Can I suggest you jot down where you have put the different items especially those you don't use often, make a list and stick on the inside of each cupboard door, it really helps when you want something and can't recall which cupboard you put it in.

A bit late now but lining kitchen cupboards with washable wallpaper always makes them easier to keep clean and new, and any spills or marks can be wiped up or the paper replaced in future, better than marking the shelves themselves.

Take care

Thank you all. I didnt know Jude had done this until just now. Have to say that I have had a lot of surgery over the years, but nothing that hurts like this. Have got all immediately needed things back in the kitchen the rest must stay where it is for now.

So sorry to hear of your pain, Jean.
I hope it eases soon.

What a shame when 'improvement' means less practical space. I hope you soon get things organised how you want them to be in the kitchen.

Sorry to hear your back is so bad Jean. Hope the painkillers help and that you can slowly get your kitchen sorted.

Jean, hope that your back will soon feel much better, and that all will go well with your hospital appointment today.

Also hope that you will be able to get your kitchen sorted before too long.
If I was living nearer you, I'd gladly help in any way I could.

Sending you lots of positive thoughts.

Love, Sallie.x

Morning everyone (11.44am)...

Jean in Monmouth is really suffering with her back, she's seen the doctor and has more painkillers which are doing a little, but still not enough!!
Unfortunately the kitchen work that was done has left her with less space so they are struggling to put things away and l know its getting her down.
She has another hospital appt today, which does'nt help when getting in and out of the car.

Please send positive thought to Jean:o)

Jean..please take it easy, l know its easy for me to say, but you must!!
