At 5 feet one inch, I seem to have a problem in most shops and the having had two ops on one of my knees kneeling down is not easy either,,,,my solution is usually to ask another customer or one of the staff and normally I find the younger members of staff very helpful, |

It does make you wonder, doesn't it - if the staff need a stool to reach the top shelves, what do they expect the customer to do? |

maggie, in my kitchen i cant reach the top shelves of my cupboards without standing on a chair and that sometimes is painful for my kneees climbing up. so i have a really useful tool for bringing forward packets of say soup, rice etc by using a fish slice. i can get around the back of the packets with it enough to get hold of the front of said item. |

actually I have the same trouble......and look for those little stools on wheels that settle down when you stand on them........some in sainsbrys have "staff only" on them............gotta cover themselves aint they? |
