Today is my daughter's 37th birthday


where have those years gone??



It is also the 50th anniversary of my mother's death



Would you believe that I did not connect that fact until J was about 16, when a cousin sent me a photo of Mum's gravestone.



I've since realised that I cut out the date on which someone close has died. I remember the month and year, but not the day.

I think its quite unusual for a mother , daughter, and gran-daughter to share a date in common.

You must have been young when your mum died.
