It's awful to see that yet another young woman has been robbed of her future by an evil man posing as a taxi driver and using the job to abduct and murder someone.
I dread to think what horrors that poor girl went through last week when she had just had a nice time with her friends and was on her way back to her boyfriend and home. I don't know how her family, friends and boyfriend will cope with imagining all sorts of things but for sure she would have spent her last hours terrified.
Seems the chap also said he killed another person so now a field is being dug up to try and find a body to identify. No dignity for that person, a digger is being used to search the field the killer indicated to the police as he took them to where he left Sian's body.

I worry enough about my son when he is out and about.
Do you think things will ever become safe enough for people to walk the streets after dark and feel secure again? What will it be like for the next generation of clubbers and late workers?

Good morning Liz,

I have just read your entry and my thoughts and prayers are with this family. I cannot begin to imagine how they must feel and I nclude her boyfriend with the family.

However this type of terrible destruction of another human being is not new it has always happened, I cannot imagine why some people cause such tragedies or what drives them to it,. Think of the notorious story of Jack the Ripper, for example. I am not prepared to but other names of murderers on here just in case a friend or family member of someone comes along ad becomes reminded and distressed having read the thread.
All we can do Liz is to pray and make sure as far as possible that our loved ones are street wise etc. (I hate that expression, but could not think of any other phrase)
Keep these people in your prayers Liz, and so will I
