I got loads and loads of message on my threads "trying to find"
and I want to delete the ones which are years old. How can i do it without
going through them one at a time.

You can't, but it really is best to leave them, you might not need them now but someone else looking in the future might? They don't take up any room on your PC and will only 'reappear on page 1 if someone adds to them.

You CAN delete your postings to other people's threads which will remove them from your list, it's tedious, for you have to find every entry that you have made...
you own threads you can delete, but as was said they take up no room on your pc so its just as well to leave them..........
