Could I ask for positive thoughts for Dutches cousin please. She is 86 years old and found out she has bladder cancer, They can't operate as her heart isn't very good. Will it never end for Joyce, the bad luck just keeps on coming for her, she is not on here for the time being as she is not very well herself and spends most of the day in bed because of pain.

Positive thoughts going out to Dutch's cousin. I hope she will be able to live pain free for the remainder of her life with the aid of good medication.

I must say, in all of my time on these forums, I have never ever come across anyone with so much recurring bad luck, ailments, deaths, accidents & woes. One thing after another, sometimes several things at a time, several days running. (latest thing the toe incident which I followed open mouthed as things progressed from bad to worse)

Makes me appreciate my life as it is now, not perfect but not unlivable.

I was also thinking that Dutch and Dutch's friends and family are really unbelievably unlucky.

Here's hoping that they have a change in fortune soon.

Good wishes

I must say that it is almost unbelievable the amount of sad events that happen to Dutch and her family. However she and all her family are still in my daily positive thoughts and my quiet time.

May she one day have some good news and then may it stay that way.

I thought the same about Dutch....not a lucky person,so many people she knows have serious problems.

I think that it's probably an 'age' thing. My MiL is going through a similar stage at the moment. Within 2 years she lost her MiL, her husband, her brother, and a close family member was diagnosed with a serious illness.

Thanks ladies, it's unbelievable the bad luck Dutch has, she is so upset that she can't get to see her cousin who lives in Cornwall. She asked me to put it on for her as she believes the positive thoughts work, they did for me once. At the moment she can't even get her shoe on her foot with the gout, she was laughing as she told me of going to the doctors with one shoe and one slipper. I'm always wishing her and Jans luck would change, her with gout and Jan with pnuemonia, it's not a happy house just now.
