Hello,

I was wandering if anyone knows where I could access the details of Annulment of back in the 1950's?
All I require is a date of Annulment.

I have browsed the internet, but to no avail.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Maz

Hello

Many thanks for both your responses!

*Joan-Thank you for the above information! I shall look into this!
Do you think it would apply to annulments?

Kind Regards,

Mary

Joan, thank you for posting this. My terrible shock when I found my mothers when she died was the back paper and White writing, it left nothing to the imagination. I also found a heartbreaking letter from the courts apologising for forgetting to inform her of the hearing re custody of her daughter. This meant that her daughter was tld that her birth mother did not want her. Luckily this daughter found her mothers address and used to write secretly.

So my advice when people search for such documents is be prepared for the worst and be happy if it is good news.
