Ann I would love to join in but my problem is that living in Spain I cannot get the books

I have hundreds of books but they do not come on your three because I suspect that they would not be what most people want to read.for example I have Stephen, Dean knootz, patricia corn well , John grisham, Michael Connelly, cook books, books about queen Vitoria , books by rankin and others but they are as far as I am aware not the type of books suggested. However I am not moaning because I read the reviews etc so would be sad if this fell away.

Good luck

I understand that Bridget, we have had crime books but I don't think any by those you mentioned. However, it may be that if you suggested them they would get chosen. I have read John Grisham, in fact have one among my 'waiting to be read' books - The last Juror.

OK so would that mean that I could be an occasional member? I do not want to be seen as picky. I am sure that you know what I mean

We could start with The Last Juror, do you want to see what the other people on your tread feel about this?

Bye for now

Bridget, i have read books by some of the authors you mention.
I quite like the idea of having a "different type of book" on the list of suggestions. It will give us a wider range to choose from and broarden our knowledge.

Bridget, do join us. I order all the books from the local library. I have to say I have had a lot of enjoyment reading all the suggested books.

And I often suggest older stories, in fact we have many of your mentioned authors on our bookshelves!

Hi, Look Bridget, I have put the list up to vote already, but what I will do is add the Last Juror to the reading list at the end then anyone who can't get the chosen book can read that, if that doesn't work I'll put it on the next list or you can in 6 weeks. I won't have time to read it myself this time as it is not one I particularly have plans to take to Tenerife but we'll see how the vote goes.
