Oh deary deary me l'm going to be a GREAT grandma,
my grandaughter is due l think in October ( she is waiting for a scan to comfirm dates )
I'm only 57.............................why does my family settle down so young, lol.
l was 17 when l had my first and 18 with my second then l was a nan at 37., well it will be another one for the family tree ........only joking.

I'm 56 and am still not a Grandma !!,and can't see it happening for some time yet.

i was 36 when i had number 6 child the last one and he is only 4 yrs older than my grandson

I thinks that is really nice, you are young enough to be able to run around with them and be a part of their lives for many years. Not many people are able to say that they knew their great grandparents!

I am a GRT Grandma to 4 ,the eldest is 14 the youngest is 3 .Was a gran at 41 and grt gran at 59 and its lovely having the children around They call me Big Nan, not as it size lol, but as in hierarchy to their nans, Grt grandad is just Grandad Michael as theres only one grandad who they dont see that often.

You will enjoy being a great grandparents, I became a great grandmother last year from my g/daughter and there is another one on the way this time from my g/son

Congratulations Mummo, thats great news.

I had my children at 28 and 35 so it will be a few years before any grandchildren come along.

My Aunt was a great grandma at 65
another Aunt was a great Aunt at 28, the same age as when her first child was born!

If we look at our ancestors it may be more common than we think.
