I saw him today lol - large as life in Yarmouth. I also saw him in Norwich the day before he was reported to have died.
He makes you smile lol

He is a bit daft really but at one time had a real following, many of them young people mainly students. He just had his idea and went with it, started off with tatty stuffed toys off charity stalls etc and an old cassette player lol

There was a big todo tho as he was on benefits and they reckoned he was earning megabucks from Joe Public lol

At least he used his iniative but I think he lost benefits for a while!

He moved to your neck of the woods I think, didn't he, and then got beaten up at one point when 'performing'

Liz , I was on Facebook when the rumour of his death erupted , he has a page on there , I was quite astounded at the amount of messages he got !

Glad he is ok .

This chap is world famous now, yet again he's in the news.

I knew him slightly before he started busking, when he was an acquaintance of a friend of mine who sold his paintings under a local subway in Norwich,
David has been in the news many times over his particular form of busking, small children seem to like him but then he became a sort of cult figure lol
