A few days ago, son informed me he had purchased my gift - if it survived that long. I said to OH he has bought a sick plant and is TLCing it (he has green fingers and thumbs).

OH brought it home a couple of hours ago, a lovely plastic pot decorated with pictures of daffs, with min. daffs growing in it, one in bloom the rest a mass of buds, turned it round and I burst out laughing, son had left the stickers on deliberately - Tesco £1.50 - reduced to 15p! Best bargain I have seen for a long time. Will give me a lot of pleasure.

gosh, that was a bargain.

Son sent me flowers for Mothers day, last weekend as we are going to be away Mothers day. When it arrived the bowl was smashed. (Interflora).

Son sent them an e mail and yesterday a new bowl arrived, plus a new bouquet of flowers with apologies from head office. Even this one the box was smashed in but the case was intact.

Anyway, two bouquets were too much really so we took them round (with son's blessing) to our friend who is ill.

Ann - son rang a while ago and was laughing so much - he said he could not resist it when he saw it. And I can plant out in garden later, good value!

I stopped using Interflora years ago, I get on as I did earlier this week, to the internet - find a local florist for the address I am sending to, ring them direct and so far no complaints.
