Hello everyone
This is a long shot but I thought I'd give it a go as someone might have some ideas. Back in the mists of time (late 1920s/30s) my dad was a lad in Islington & they had a terrier dog called Patty Wiggins or maybe Wiggens. The dog seems to have been something of a local legend & would run for miles with the boys on their bikes, hardly stopping for breath. My dad can't remember why they called him that so I wondered if they had named him after someone famous at the time, perhaps a sportsman (?a boxer ha ha). I have tried googling the name but found nothing.
I'll be on here for another 30 mins then come back later tonight. Hope someone can throw some light on this for me.
Thanks Diane x
