Too many nostaglic titles to list, and yes, I had the miniskirts too. I used to make a lot of my clothes and my Dad used to say the usual pelmet comment as I dashed out of the house. I had a miniskirt with a maxi coat over, kept me warm. Used to have to buy undies to match or tone with miniskirts, they were that short!

It was generally suggested that our thighs became chubbier as our bodies added fat to keep our legs warm lol Maybe that's why there are so many muffin tops on show nowadays, those skimpy midriff tops leave a chilly gap!

I still have some platform boots in my loft, and some clothes I wore in 1974 mainly size 10s now I need twice that size lol
