my winson churchill double Daff's....started showing there head's just over xmas, the stems have grown abt 4inch and gone a bit yellow...they have stopped growing...i think things started to go wrong when they got bombarded with snow over the winter and i for got to put a pot over them for protection,how can i save them??.....help please...

Carefully,dig a couple up to make sure it's just cold damage and not disease.
Everything being okay ,leave them be,they will recover in time for next year,in any event ,next autumn,give them an overcoat of straw which will give them some protection.
Plants are very resilient if they are native to the country,Fred.

Cane,a dose of liquid plant food wouldn't hurt either,the soil has been so wet that all the goodness has leached out.

I believe that most gardens have suffered this winter,I have lots of plants that have been killed off.

Never mind,an excuse to visit the nurseries.
