Me? I got a silver necklace and a top from OH on behalf of the girls (bought pressie..which we rarely do..dunno what got into him lol)...

From youngest...a beaded necklace which she made herself and a home made card...PERFECT

From eldest a huge pot of my favourite sweets she apparently gave Grandad the money to buy on her behalf (though Nanny says he gave it her back bless him lol) and a home made card..so I'm very happy !!

PLUS best of all they gave me an undertaking that they would not fight, shout or argue ALL DAY..and as of 6.30pm they've stuck to it ..which is the best present of all...so all in all a very happy day?

I did the ironing....lol ,

I owe D so much money I told him in advance not to bother....but he has told me more than several that he loves me , and that is nice to know :)) ....AND he let me sleep in without saying 'I'm Hungry" lol. He's having a growth spurt and needs fuel lol.

My son tells me that he frequently tells me what a totally fabulous mum I am and he does not need a special day in the year to say it ... he's right of course. My mum used to say to us - don't make a fuss of it!!! She would get quite cross if we bought her anything ...

But hey, a bottle of my favourite wine wouldn't have gone amiss. I might slap the little s*d later!

Hi All

From my eldest daughter and her family , I got 2 photo frames, one with Grandma and me on so I need to get a photo of my little granddaughter who's 18months and me to put in it, also got a coaster with a poem titled grandma, and a card.

And from my youngest daughter and her boyfriend I got a bunch of flowers, a book with recipes for the Slow cooker they are fed up with the same meals all the time, and a chain for my glasses so I don't complain when I put them down and can't find them, also a card.

I have had a lovely day. with my family who were here for Sunday dinner they have just gone home .now it's so peaceful

I had an Orchid from son and daughter.A voucher for a firming eye treatment (from daughter).Is she trying to say I have baggy eyes!!!!
and a lovely bouquet of flowers from my (surrogate) daughter in Dubai.She is actually the daughter of my best friend (who died).I am her second Mum lol

Well l got the most lovely card from Daughter in Cheshire with money inside so l can buy my own flowers from my local florist because she knows l love going in there choosing what l like.
From my son another lovely card and he took Ed and l out for Sunday dinner and also flowers from him.
Even though the children aren't at home anymore Ed always insists on spoiling me rotten on this day, which is lovely.

I had flowers from g/dau.nice and home made cards which are lovely,and some other bits and bobs all very special as were home made.
plus a new set of pens!!

I had a great mothers day with my children and grand children
got necklace and earrings, Plus its my birthday tomorrow as well i have more to come.

Daughter and son in law arranged to take me and SiL's mum (plus grandchildren) to the Hotel du Vin for tea & cakes.
This little band of seven turned into an entourage of 16!
SiL's sister came with her partner, plus his mum. (+3) SiL's brother's partner's son had just come home from The East,and wanted to bring her (+3) her other son came with hispartner (+2) SiL's mum decided to bring her partner (+1).
It was lovely to see them all again!! LOL

Oh -and I think I may be' babysitting next Friday, and grand daughter (9 on Wednesday) has invited herself over on the bank holiday!!
She loves coming to my house as we 'don't do anything'!!!
I have to admit to being a bit of an expert at that - hence she can't come over any sooner, as the spare bedroom is full of junk!!!
