My sister and I recently discovered that our mother served in the Royal Air Force (RAF). We don't have any details, other than she may have spent some time in Germany and joined with a friend, but as she was born in 1933 we'd guess anywhere from 1950 onwards. We do know that in the mid to late 60s she was in a civilian job working fro British European Airways (BEA). Unfortunately as she now has dementia we can't get details from mom. |
