Right at the top of this page, in your browser bar, is the thread number 1264186. (the browser bar is where you type initially to go to a site)

Delete that number (carefully) and type in the number you have found. Not sure if it will work as part of this thread page address is 'general_topics'.

If it doesn't work, go to each board in turn, click on any (one) thread and do the same until you find it.

EDIT - It Does! I tried it out by going to another thread on Records and altered the number to this one.... and here we are again!

There is the option to use the Advance Search under Tools, but not sure if a page number will work. Have a go anyway. You could try using it by putting in some of the names you were asking for - follow the instructions.

I did have a look earlier, but there were loads with author Ann and 1911 census in the title.

Just sent you a PM as I thought you got lost!!

If you've found the thread in 'my thread participation', you just click on it's title. If you mean to follow a link such as the one I posted, highlight it, right click, then depending on your programme,

Copy and paste into a new window/tab/the one you are using
or
select 'Open in a new tab' or 'Open in a new window'.

To the left of this page under 'tools' is a link called 'My thread participation'.

As long as you didn't delete your thread, it will be listed there. Just click on the thread title.

NB - you'd already asked this question on Records
http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.page/board/records_office/thread/1264183.

To reply/acknowledge that they have been read, click on the purple 'Reply' button at he top of the board.
