Hope this is the correct place to post this. I have just dicovered a rely of mine was admitted to Beverly Union poor house then she was put into Broardgates Asylum in 1879. where she died can I view the records for these two plsces .

Hi Lynda,

I live in the area of Broadgates.

Not sure if this is any interest to you, but you can view it online.

It closed around 1989.

Broadgates asylum Beverley Yorkshire.
