There were a couple of posts on here recently about the "Feet Nibbling Fishes"
I asked one of my friends what treat she would like for her birthday, and she decided on the fish pedicure.
I can't say that i was particularly overwhelmed by her suggestion....but i can honestly say, it was wonderful!
The fish gently suck the skin (they have no teeth) which gives a lovely natural pedicure, while at the same time provides you with a wonderful massage that stimulates acupuncture points...........leaving you feeling all relaxed.
I was apprehensive about it......but i cant wait to do it again!!

My hairdresser now has one of these tanks in his salon and it's a great success apparently. He says the 'bad press' about it being unhygenic and risky is a lot of 'drummed up', sensationalist nonsense. My youngest daughter had a session when she was in Thailand last year and said it was fantastic. I might give it a try soon - go to the hairdressers to get my hair and horny old feet done all at the same time! They might even eat my bunions, you never know lol!

I highly recommend it Wend, it was such a lovely experience.
I agree about the "drummed up" sensationalist nonsense.
In the salon that i went to, the tanks are fitted with the latest water purification system which had an ultra violet bacteria sterilization system to ensure that the water is treated up to 10 times an hour.
I dunno if the fishies are partial to bunions tho!! lol x

Had to go down and close it, otherwise all sorts of unsavoury nightlife get in there. Staggered back up, sniffed my delightful 'Daphne' en route, shone the torch in the pond - bit frisky in there, they are, they are. Alroight for some! What now - breddy ironing, I suppose, unless anyone can cheer me up?

I am pleased i had my tootsies done cos i have just "Fished" out my flip flops. Mind you, they are turquoise and clash with my shocking pink nail varnish!!
Oh well...... if your going to get your feet out, best to do it in style!! :>))
