Brighton Marathon.....:o))

Our son is running in the B/Marathon today, it starts at 9.00am, its now 8.30am.....fingers crossed for him. He's main thing is to finish:o)

I hope he does well.
It was on local TV that it has quickly grown into quite a big event.
It's going to be be a hot run today, with quite a breeze by the coast, I think.

16.16pm.......Just spoken to Dan...his time was 4 hrs 11 mins. He's so pleased with himself.He said the atmosphere was electric. Had his name on his top and people kept calling out his name, he got abit emotional whilst running...dads all emotional now!!

and we think he should collect over £1,000 for charity:o)

Jude, wonderful that he completed in such a good time and the amount for charity is excellent.
I understand that most people become emotional whilst doing long runs but at the end it is tears of joy!

Have just spoken to him again....he ran with a raging tootheache and headache bless him and is off to A&E for painkillers till he gets back to Birmingham ....:o)
