Could someone help me with the birth record of Ethel G.R. Day born around June 1915 the birth was registeredin Edmonton record no: 3a898
If that can be found could someone please look to see the name of both parents and also the address.Thanks Christine

Christine, you have to purchase birth cert from GRO for those details, the LMA records ( on Ancestry) may not stretch that far out of London though some areas of Surrey are included...that would be for a baptism.

Free BMD says Huggins is the mothers maiden name.

The only way you will be able to see the names of both parents properly is by buying the certificate from the GRO..

Mothers maiden name was Huggins..

You need to go to GRO.gov.uk > order online .> click references known on first page > fill in details spelt exactly as you see them> pay by credit card>£ 9.25. wait about 7-12 days for the postman.

Free BMD has a marriage record for George Henry Day and Annie Louise Huggins marrying in Southampton 1900

I also found Edward G Day born Sep 1911 and Joseph Day born Sep 1913, both with mother named Huggins in Edmonton. I guess there could be more children between 1900 and 1911 but the mother's name is not recorded until 1911.
