Reading in our local paper (The One-Horse Town News) this morning, the death announcement of a lady, who along with her deceased husband taught generations of children to ballroom dance, I was saddened. And, in their day, they did achieve television status, dancing to the wonderful Victor Silvester Orchestra
As a dancing school, they taught me, and in the next generation, my daughters, and it has stayed with us all our lives.
No wonder I am an ardent fan of Strictly. I positively get the hots, at the thought of dancing the Argentinian Tango with that luscious little Italian, Vincent Simone. When he puts on his black and white shoes, I know we are in for a treat.
So thank you J & L. May you rest in peace. Together again. The end of an era.
