Did anyone watch the programme on Thursday evening with the above title?

I recorded it and watched it a little while ago! We really don't know we are born, do we? The life for women in Afghanistan is so awful, a battle to be educated, to live life the way they want and to have the freedom to go out and about on their own.......

It broke my heart to see that poor girl of 15 who had been forced to marry, she was so badly beaten so often by her inlaws that she set fire to herself after pouring petrol over her body. Now she is in pain in hospital and will never walk again.

There were many awful stories told to the young Afghan women reporter whose family brought her to England when she was small so she didn't have to suffer all the limitations in her home country. She has just finished her degree and wanted to see what life was like for young women in Afghanistan. She visited her Grandmother again and lucky she did so as the poor old lady was ill and died after the programme. It was nice that she was able to enjoy a visit from her Granddaughter one last time. Her mother did her the biggest favour in bringing her here.

No one interested or aren't these programmes watched by folk on here?

I watch lots of documentary type progs from Channel 4 and there are so many thought provoking and often sad stories told, makes me wish I was a lot younger so I could try to help in some way.
