Looking for my mum's brother

my mum's dad died round about 2000, my mum's brother Tony (my uncle) was killed a few years before hand. we recently lost my brother (mum's son) under tragic circumstances... i really need to find my remaining uncle. His name is Charles Wentworth (was Waites) he has 3 daughters, and was or still is married to a lady named Lucy.... can anyone help please?

Jo, this is the "Chat" board -- one of the two boards that *aren't* for finding family. If you'd posted on the Trying to Find board, for instance, you would have seen the instructions, which include things like giving a *place*.

There is also the fact that information about living people may not be posted on the boards here.

I believe I've identified your uncle's marriage and the births of the three children. I'll send you the names, and also do a quick check of resources for locating them.


edit -- actually, I'm sorry, that seems to have been the wrong marriage; it was an Alan Wentworth to a Lucy. I'm afraid I don't understand about your uncle's two surnames, and unfortunately putting more details here would probably be an invasion of his privacy.

Possible marriage sent by pm., if incorrect, it could be a connection to the family.
Do you have an approximate year of birth for your Uncle please.
