Now then, now then Arthur. All this thigh slapping in this heat. Are you appearing in Panto ??

Robin's gardening knowledge could be put on the back of a postage stamp. He's no Monty Don, you know. He's more into birds.

I digress. Well, this plant of yours, is it a plant or is it a shrub. What is the leaf like, and what is the flower like. It's a pity you can't draw a picture on here.
Merlin will be on, in a little while, if he is let out of the potting shed, and may be able to advise you. I need to speak with him as I have trouble with me water, and he may be able to advise.

Just a thought, is it a Peony.

I wish i could remember the name of the plant i am referring to. Its on the tip of my tongue but i dont think it matters.
Anyway...........i have this plant. Its very bushy, about three feet high and well established as i have had it for years.
It has always produced very pale (almost white) pink flowers.........but to my surprise, last year it produced one very deep pink flower.
The same has happened this year and i would love to know how that happened!!

Thankyou..........Holly Titmarsh!
