Morning All
Just a quick question before I don my gardening garb for another day's toil.
Which channel are going to watch next week's nuptuals on. That is, if you have been unlucky like myself, and not been sent an invitation to appear in person.

Julia in an Already Sweating Derbyshire
(It'll be frocks in knickers time again this afternoon)

You don't get qvc Julia???
You poor deprived bumpkin!
It's a shopping channel which is very handy for jaw dropping excercises and a chance to see master drivellers at work.
I thought I'd watch it to see how quickly they can get a knock off of The Dress.

Prickles Babes, was yer in the Navy then, with all them tats on yer legs.

I'm off up the 'eart Foundation shop soon to look for me facinator. I'm going to get some smoked salmon and caviar for me sarnies, so I don't have to leave the box. Probably have some pork scratching for the afternoon, and then top it off with some black pudding, and Guiness.

Bloomin eck Julia, I thought for a mo that you were going to stick a salmon on your head LOL

Ahem.....I do not per-chase from shopping channels. I only pause for a moment when surfing to catch up on any new drivel tips. I tell you, they can talk for England, nay, the Universe, about the most boring of items - some of them even use a rular!

I must busy myself too. I'm putting my courgettes out in the day to get them well 'ard so I need to get their final homes ready.

Julia Report 20 Apr 2011 13:31

To answer your original question Julia dear - BBC - always for the big occasions

David Starkey apparently has written in Times today that he does not see much passion between William and Kate. If he has nothing better to say why open his mouth? Does he really wish to watch a bit of nookey? I know what I said to OH about him but cannot put this on thread - mores the pity!!!

Passion is for taking place in privacy or so I have always thought!!

Julia Report 20 Apr 2011 14:10

Hiya Chris, yes I always watch the big occassions on the BBC. They seem to do those sort of thing so well.
I am suprised at Dr. David Starky making those remarks, and as this is such a special occassion, if he and others can't say anything nice, then don't bother saying anything at all.

Take Care
