I live in Penisc..a in Spain and we also are having atrocious weather. My son, his girl friend and her six year old have come from Barcelona for Easter and the weather was good there yesterday.

Happy Easter everyone,
I am visiting my son & grandson here in Seville, Spain and the weather is atrocious! Shame for those who have been practising for months for the Holy Week Processions but it's really a deluge, with a nasty thunderclap at 3 a.m. this morning and another about 1 p.m. We were fortunate here in Triana district that their procession took place on Monday and it was beautiful. Missing the Hot Cross buns, though!
My other sons say it's v. hot in UK. LOL!

Happy Easter to everyone. Unfortunately we are having terrible weather with extremely heavy rain fall, which is forecast to last for much of the week.

I have made some hot cross buns and made an Easter cake as well.

I got some of the fancy hot cross buns that M & S were advertising, as well as the cranberry and orange ones they do apple and cinnamon.

I remember one Good Friday many years ago, 1970 it was, that I was living in Cambridge. I went to the local bakery to get some hot cross buns and when I got back the postman had delivered a small shoebox full of my Mum's home made ones. They were so much nicer than the shop ones, I do miss Mum's baking!
