Mr "I'm a trained chef so I know' other half told me I would find it very hard to make mayonnaise because there is a knack to it and it will curdle.

Well I have and it didn't so there!Nah nah nah nah nah!

I did it in the liquidizer from a recipe in a book. It was whole egg.

I think the trick is in the speed of tipping in the oil and I did beat it for a fair time before I tipped it in.

I have never had a white sauce seperate either.

Yorkshire puddings,now that is a different matter!
