Hi Spanish Eyes.
We´re marooned in Menorca which was idyllic 5 years ago but is now very isolated due mainly to the recession. It costs around €90 to fly to Barcelona, even with the residents discount & much as I love the place, it´s rapidly becoming unaffordable to live here. Due to the recession, there´s no work to be had, so we´re limping along on our pensions & considering moving to the peninsula. OH comes from Cordoba, but we haven´t decided yet exactly where to go. Knowing my luck, we´ll jump out of the frying pan into the fire.
Feeling miserable because it´s grey & wet.
Just ignore my moans.
Marion
PS Happy Easter.

1. Try genforum.genealogy.com
On the Home page go down the menu to Regional and click on Countries. From the list of countries just click on the one you're interested in (remembering to bookmark!!) and post your questions on the message board/forum. There's always someone who can help you or at least point you in the right direction.

2. Try the Rootsweb message boards on Ancestry.com.....again you'll find a countries list which is then broken down to regions/areas. You can learn a lot from just reading through, or register to post your questions (free reg. for message boards).

Presume you are on the mainland of Spain.
There are Mormon Family History centres in Spain, although not very many.
Try googling for addresses. You never know, you may be lucky & find one that´s not too far from where you live.
Unfortunately my 2 nearest are Barcelona or Palma.
