I managed to send a few cards but to those I didn't write to, I want to wish you all a nice Easter. So many of you are in my thoughts but I am not spending much time on here at the mo so apologies to all those I owe emails and pms to. One of these days I will get round to responding to you, meantime stay as well as you can and enjoy the good weather while we have it.

Caz, it doesn't matter, I don't send things just for a card in return lol
I just like people to know I am thinking about them.
A cousin of my Dad's in Llanelli (the one we were visiting when I did the meet there Jude) always sends cards but this year he wasn't well enough, he may have to have radiotherapy soon for his prostate problems. Poor chap has been fighting the big fight for some time now so I am sad that he is having further problems. Trying to sort out whether to visit Wales again for our hols this year, just in case he doesn't respond well to treatment. I think he is the last of my Dad's cousins, that I know of altho they didn't know each other well, it's still a nice family link and he has given me a lot of info on my Grandmother's family.

Don't go eating too much folks lol but enjoy yourselves.

I am ashamed that I don't keep in touch more frequently.
As you can appreciate, my time on the comp. has become more limited since my dear husband stopped work! I spend a lot more time in the kitchen!
I do hope you are well? And Guy? I know you don't let on if you have problems, but if you need to rant or moan, just put it all down and send to moi!
We have not been home much lately, as T still has the wanderlust, and needs to feel he is going somewhere - anywhere!
We are off to N's house in Andover for a barbecue and I am not dressed yet, so I must, must, go and get ready, or I shall be in even more trouble.

Hi Jo, please don't feel bad, I know how things are for you now. I think it's unfair that your life has been changed so much considering how much you put into bringing up the lads and keeping house and home going while T was away but hey, it's what you expected to happen and maybe some time T's wanderlust will stop and you can have more time at home and get into a different routine, or he might go off and do some work for a short time and we can chat then. Just glad you are all ok, and hope life will be good to you.

We have had a wet Friday, sunny Saturday, overcast Sunday and it hosed down our last night and today Monday it is very wet. But that's nothing we can have four seasons in one day in Auckland,

So happy Easter from us here in NZ.

We also have ANZAC today and the other night we had a movie on the box called " Home by Christmas" it is based on a true story about one of our filmographers father and how he thought he would be just signing up and going off for a bit of a look at the world and ending up a POW in Italy and how he made his way back home. My dad whilst in the army did not get to go away (much to his disappointment) he was a Sergeant cook in the officer's mess here but some of the dialogue sounded just like him.

Take care all - mind out for mobility scooters....LOL

As persephone,said it is also Anzac Day for us over here, which is very important to the Ozzies and the Kiwi's, to most of us it is Sacred as well as a very proud day for us to remember as we honour all the veteren's of the War's

Hello my friends, and thanks for the good wishes.

I am sorry I forgot about Anzac day, having so many Ozzy and Kiwi friends, I should remember this important date. Strange to think had I played my cards differently, I might have become a Kiwi by marriage lol

O.h. back to work later today, and then he is working most of next weekend, all 4 days, on overtime as a new machine is being installed at the factory so I will have a lot of time to myself, hope to meet up with friends one day of the weekend but will at least be able to watch the Royal Wedding in peace - he won't be home till 6.30pm.
