Such a kind thought, maybe he could now explain that he can still help her but not quite so generously. Your husband is showing great humanity, not many like him anymore. However I do understand you predicament, perhaps you could go with him to visit her and collect her order and then it may be easier for you both.

A kind thing to do but is this old lady really hard up, surely she must have a pension etc so money coming in. I think your o.h. should have discussed it with you first - it will be hard to start charging the old dear now when she orders things.
Hope it won't cause you too much of a strain on your income.

How lovely of your oh, but I agree, things are way too expensive these days to keep paying for other peoples shopping.
I know someone who used to do this, but her old neighbour now pays her if it doesn't come to over £10. Funny how they have their own wee ways lol

That my OH has been getting an old lady that lives a couple of doors away her shopping with our internet order from T***'S, this has been going on for a fair while, thing is when the old lady say's how much do i owe you my OH says oh don't worry about it, no wonder i'm struggling.
