WW2 service records are not in the public domain,they are still retained by the MOD until 2020 at the earliest, and are only available by application to The Veterans Agency.

They will cost £30-00 but free to the person whose records they are,NOK can apply also can take 6 months to get them.You can download the application form on the site.

I just googled ATS records and quite a bit of info came up on various sites.
Tips Board may be of more help.

How can I find my Mothers ATS record, she served in the 2nd world war, and thankfully wasn't killed, I am told she would have had a medal for serving and that I would only get a replica but I don't know where to look :<((
