Thankyou to everyone for your replies, sorry it has taken so long to get back to you all but for some reason I could'nt access my replies yesterday, I also have a 9 hours time difference where I live. ..

OK- perhaps viewing other's trees may be incorrect, but the part about not being able to see records is - several of my contacts let their sub lapse and now can't see what they had saved.

Any other experiences so we can give the correct information? Actually, if Sandra were to phone Ancestry, they might be able to give her a definitive answer. Perhaps Sandra could post here?

You won't lose your tree Sandra, not sure about any records attached as I never use Ancestry as my working tree so have none on there.

Regarding what DetEcTive said about trees, I'm not sure, when I had the 'free membership' I could see other peoples trees but that was almost a year ago, whether it has been changed since I don't know

Hi Sandra - you will still be able to access your tree, but won't be able to see any records you attached. Not sure about member activity, but definitely not other people's trees.

Help please. does anyone know.
Hi I have a monthy premium membership to Ancestry and I have come to a full stop as most of my searches are Scottish (,which I use SP for.)
My question is If I cease paying monthly membership on Ancestry will I loose my tree and other members activity , as I am thinking about just paying to view instead.
Regards Sandra
