hi, can anybody help me with the irish side of my family, i am trying to find my grandfather , he is a william or could be a hugh william mc farlane, most of his childrens birth certs., he is william but on one he is hugh william, he was born in ireland 1866, and married a mary mc menemy in johnstone, scotland 1/11/1889, his father was john mc farlane , mother ann boyd, on the 1881 census it just says born in ireland, i don't know how to find his records, i have tried roots, celtic research, but with no luck, hope somebody can help me with the irish side, thank-liz ryan. |

As he was born after 1864, when civil registration started for births in Ireland, then his birth registration should be here: |
