Genes Reunited looks for new Hot Matches every 14 days

22 days and still nothing

The last Hot Match i recieved was about a couple of months ago.
The name matched but born in a different country!!

There are two threads recently running on General on this - one from Shona, last posting 23rd April, and from James, last posting 25th April - if you can't find them you can get a short cut through Advanced search giving Hot matches as the subject

Depends what level of membership you have.
Many of us just pay the basic, which allows us to read messages & post. Then we have our main membership on somewhere like Ancestry or FMP.
Gene´s isn´treally good value for money if you´re paying to do searches.

I hadn't had notification of Hot Matches for ages.

However, after following the advice on another thread, I clicked on
"Hot Matches" at the top of the page and found that I did have some new ones.

It seems that GR are not sending out notifications now. (or at least they didn't notify me!).


Worth looking, as you may be lucky.
