No I still am a skintflint comes from years of living on the street I look for bargains ..OH hates it but one day he will be glad of my miserly ways ...

lol uzzi, when its just me and specky we find buying food each day is better and cheaper but when we have kids staying we do a big shop but just couldnt believe how much foord has gone up xx

Yes. I trawl all the local supermarkets and we eat what is on special offer...and i check that it's a genuine special offer too before I buy..
5 yrs ago I'd have taken their words for it..now i watch every penny x

i know what you mean muffy, i notice in a shop not as popular twist the out of date thing round the bread when its out of date, try not to fall for it too often but forget easily xxx
