I have just done a general search trees for a Stephen Lea on this Site.Whereas perhaps there maybe only a couple of hundred with that name exactly on this Site,it has thrown up search results which include all the soundslike surnames like Lee,Leach etc.

Whilst no doubt very interesting and all that,it is absolutely useless to me!I know how to spell and what I'm looking for!

But other people may have variations, and spellings do change over the years.

But your point is taken - the hotmatches/search trees has always been a bug bear.
