Bob, I am still laughing at this one and it is the second time I have read it.
Keep them coming, and I might just open the Conversation Lounge!!

There I was sitting at the bar staring at my drink when a large, trouble-making biker steps up next to me, grabs my drink and gulps it down in one swig.

"Well, whatcha gonna do about it?" he says, menacingly, as I burst into tears.
"Come on, man," the biker says, "I didn't think you'd CRY.
I can`t stand to see a man crying."
"This is the worst day of my life," I say.
"I'm a complete failure.
I was late to a meeting and my boss fired me.
When I went to the parking lot, I found my car had been stolen and I don't have any insurance.
I left my wallet in the cab I took home.
I found my old lady in bed with the gardener and then my dog bit me."
"So I came to this bar to work up the courage to put an end to it all, I buy a drink, I drop a capsule in and sit here watching the arsenic dissolve.
Then some asshole shows up and drinks the whole thing! But enough about me, how's your day going?

I remember a bit from a t v program with 2 of the actors, one said don't be so paranoid, the answer was I wouldn't be so paranoid if everyone wasn't against me.

I once opened a thread to discuss the apathy on here......but no one bothered to reply!!

I have never stopped to think about who might or might not reply to one of my threads in case i become paranoid.

I just might open the Conversation lounge, I love a challenge!

My threads so far are about "things that interest me" and so far I have been very lucky.
I also had a tremendous amount of support a couple of years ago about a decision I made.

Off now to open the Conversation Lounge, otherwise people will be knocking on the door.

i think it all depdends what people are doing n who is about at the time, altho im not about much lately x

I am pleased when I see a thread that interests me and I will post whoever puts it up, though there are some who do seem to think the same way as me and I know will answer mine.

Actually Puss I think it depends on the subject of the thread as well. Some people may share an interest in it while some are not interested.

Used to be a broad selection of people who replied on my threads...but then one group thought I was friendly with the 'other' group and vice versa so neither felt inclined to post ( especially the ones who were sniping elsewhere about me ;) ) ...and the ones who were in neither group mostly have left lol.

I seldom put up threads,Puss, but when I do I make sure it is a serious topic, like 'What colour Knickers are You Wearing today?' I usually get a broad section of knicker wearing members replying:-) lol BCXXX
