i go on a cruise with my mum, we are going to the ffjords, have you got one booked, this a one off for me, but with mum recently widdowed we thought it a good idea, any tips and no im not taking the caravan lol xx

You'll love it Puss.The last one we went on was to the Baltic for my 70th,which was 6 years ago.you will be pampered ...and the food!!!!
Good job we live at the seaside as I only get out for 2 hours max now with OH being so reliant on me.Enjoy every minute!!

Thankyo, without going into detail i really really need this break, my immediate family are having a horrendous time, i feel bad for going but have been orded to go as specky has it all under controll, i promised mum id go after losing my step dad in sep, i wish he was here so badly, but we have a amazing sergant looking after us and my girls are having lots of support, so i am going to go xx

lol ice baby, sadly i dont drink any more to many tablets shame i used to enjoy a million pints or so kept me out of pain during the duration xxlol

Don't forget the camera, you will want to look back on the holiday.

Have a brilliant time, try to switch off while you are away. Try to lose a bit of weight BEFORE you go as the food is 'wall to wall and 24 - 7' available any time all over the ship. You will have your mum all to yourself for a while so enjoy. (Plenty of time to ask her about g g g grandad etc lol)

Take a good pair of shoes with a springy bottom ,if you know what I mean.No need to worry about handbags.I took 3 when I went .Only used one.
You will be blown away with the scenery.It's beautiful.Oh I want to go again!!

Oh, how i wish i was going on holiday with my precious Mum, sadly no longer here.

Thankyou, ive had a tablet increased and side affects are weight gain, ive had a really strong appertite last few weeks and ive put a stone on, i can diet nowior live on sea food on the ship xlol

Oh dear! you will no doubt add a bit more weight on board.You can't go on a cruise and not enjoy all the fabulous food on offer.
I went on a cruise to the Med with my Mum and Sister.Mum had dementia but she was determined to have a cruise.I have to tell you It could have been made into a comedy sketch.Poor Mum was so confused ,but had a ball.My sister and I were exhausted keeping an eye on her.The morning we had to disembark ,Mum thought she had only just got on the ship !!!.She remembered absolutely nothing of the cruise.I made her an album of all the different places we visited and lots from the ship.
I 'm sure you will have a great time with your Mum.The Ffiords(sp?) are a place I would love to visit again..Just eat ,drink and be merry.
