we got the form yesterday, will be using the secure access code this weekend to fill it online.

I'm betting the concern about language is because originally they did not have a question on language ....... then various French societies across the country realised that could be a major problem in getting funding for their programs?

after all, they say the information is to be used for social services ......... ancestor and family history is not important :((((((

I've just completed my 2011 census on line today for May 10th 2011 !!
They didn't want to know where we were born at all, so that will not help in the future.
In fact they will ONLY allow access in 92 yrs to the census information of those people who allow it today when they fill it in. No one will ever be allowed to research for family trees if someone is silly enough today to say no access, thank goodness that was never allowed before or where would we all be now ?
They were more worried about what language we could speak than anything else.
