I just bear in mind that Australia has it and cannot wait to get rid of it, also when they changed over they had to make voting compulsory in order to have any hope of making the voting system work.

I would not wish my 4th or 5th choice to win so no prizes of guessing what my answer will be!

I've just put my cross in the no box.

Any idea when we'll find out the result? Is it a late night/early morning result or will it be later on tomorrow..anyone know? x

But you do not have to make a 2nd,3rd or 4th choice

I voted YES

Used to go to a lot of local council counts that had less than 65% turnout and the winning candidate quite often had less than 30% of the vote. So hardly the peoples choice !!

Perhaps voting should be compulsory which ever system is in place.

I lived in N Ireland and for a couple of years I had PRO - don't see much difference between that and AV. Think it is unneccessary expense. Ours (me and him) definite NO.

I voted no in Ontario a while back on the same question!

I want at least partial proportional representation -- I want my *first* choice to count.

I don't want to be represented by my second choice, only. Sometimes I don't even have a second choice.
