I am suffering great indecision at the mo! Haven't coloured my hair since last August, I used to be naturally very dark brown/auburn highlights but as I went grey I started to use a beige/ash blonde colour and it looked fine. People complimented me on the colour. |

I always go to the hairdressers to get mine coloured. Years ago me and a friend did my sisters and she ended up with orange streaks, I think she must have been the first punk rocker. |

i too use the Nice and Easy colourant, it lasts for about 24 shampoos before fading gradually and my hair is in nice condition after it |

My neice is a hairdresser & she advises .non permanant at home .as they condition & are better for your hair .the best ones i have tried Clarol Nice & easy . no 70 or 73 , permanant .should be done at hairdressers . as they have more chemicals & most have ammonia Good luck .Barbra |

I have just started getting grey in my hair, so intend to start colouring it, I am medium blond naturally, so do I go lighter or darker, I cannot decide what will be best |

Yep Being doing it for the last 30 years, all ways go to the hairdressers to have it done, tried it once myself at home and It looked orange. OH used to do it for me when I was with him on a couple of Merchant navy trips back in the late 70's. |

yep! lol... at present I am growing out the lighter dye ( that everyone suggested would be better than darker) that just turned me 'ginger'...I had almost decided to go au naturel after my 'goth' period ( mistake) but thought I would have one last dye. |
