Hello Debbie

If you look on the freebmd site, you might be able to find a match for his parents' marriage.

http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl

Try typing in the parents surname and mother's maiden surname ( NO FIRST NAMES) to see if there are other matches for those names in the same area of birth. These will only show after 1911.
They may possibly be siblings to your grandfather, but you would need certificates to confirm.
You can check on the same site, up to about 1945 for a marriage of your grandfather, but after 1911 you can only search that site with ONE first name and then an initial for other forenames.
eg. If he was George Henry ( SURNAME)...you search for George H. (SURNAME)

If any of the marriages are in London before 1921, there is a chance that the parish register film is on the Ancestry site.

If you would like to post the information........who he is, when and where he was born and who his parents are...........we can look them up on the 1911 census.

Ooh that is a pain Debbie, I am pretty sure it was. However what about his parents? You might be able to find them in the census looking in the area of the birth. You might need to go onto the finding ancestors board toa sk if anyone can help. You need somebody with access to the 1911
