for those of you that dont have me on FB but have read the tales of my three devils over the years.

Lissy (the oldest) is now working as an aprentice at the riding stables she rides at and is doing a dipoma at colege in equine something or other. Gets paid less than JSA but woud rather do that than sign on every 2 weeks .

They have recenty started a new award a bit like the Duke of edinburgh award bit for equine voluntary helpers.
Lissy was the first in country to get her bronze award and as a result her boss and her were invited to the ROyal Windsor Horse show. Al the sponsors of the award were there and they had a dinner and wer ein the members enclosure, got tour of behind the scenes etc.
At the dinner they warned her boss to have her camera ready and in front of al these people Lissy was awarded her Silver award, she has not ony had to help out at her stables but gone to another pony club to do more and answered loads of questions.
After she had to do an interview for one of the horsey magazines and speak to the sponsors etc. Later on the Show Jumper Tim Stockdale who was meant to do a talk but as both his horses got throught o the final couldnt make it popped in and her boss asked if he would have photo with Lis and her award.

This is the girl who doesnt like talking to new people wont even answer the phone and hates going in and buying things in shops.

Am so proud of her xxx

Well done to Lissy, she must be very proud of herself.

When I was at school I was timid and didn't speak up for myself but as I started work and socialised more I found the confidence to meet new people and chat, and it got me on no end.

I am sure that's what happened to Lissy and she will go on to do even more good work and get recognised as a hard worker who has a lot to offer.

Enjoy your pride in her, she could only have learned it all from you and her Dad, you have done a sterling job Dawnie.

love

Thank you for sharing this special news Dawnie,

That's great Lissy.
You have done really well and no wonder Mum and Dad are rightly so proud of you.
I hope you continue to enjoy your chosen work. It has already taken you to some great places.
