really taken to a new and disgusting level

This story is on the BBC News website

Bradford police find body of newborn girl on waste site

Well I really can not say what I think of anyone capable of doing this.

To treat a baby as throw away rubbish.

There is so much help available so why did someone have to do this

It beggars belief GB - especially these days. However it's not a new thing - people have been doing that for many years - especially when there was shame in society for having a child before marriage.

I hope the little one didn't suffer - bless her.

That is so sad.
Makes you wonder who the mother was,
some young girl perhaps.
Suffer little children.

I'll go along with that Ice Baby.....one never knows the true story....No matter how hard the so called evidence is to take......One can only hope that the little one did not suffer.

I sounded hard and judgemental didn't I =I Of course there may be a young girl out there suffering from the loss of a little one that she couldn't acknowledge because of circumstances and of course I feel for her - I hope she gets the help she needs.

It's comforting to see people reserving judgment when none of us knows what actually happened.

How many girls or women would do this sort of thing because they are cold-hearted, evil you know whats?

How much more likely is it that it was someone very young, who felt trapped and isolated ... and even that the infant did not survive delivery (although yes, might have done had help been sought, if that were the case).

There's so much talk about not getting pregnant, but so little talk about what to do if it happens. I've wished for years that there was more of that.

Unintended/unwanted pregnancy is something that happens to many, many girls and women ... I'd almost say most. They need to know, before it happens, that they aren't the first or last one it has happened to, that it doesn't make them stupider or less worthy than other people, that they only need to seek out the help that is available, and they won't be judged.
