I agree completely - holidayed near Llangollen a few years back and it was absolutely beautiful. Didn't get to Snowdonia though :-(

Enjoy your holiday Grannie, hopefully I'll be off to Ireland too before the year is out. It seems to be THE place to be right now, its got the Queen, Obama, us... ;-)

Hi Grannie

Just wait until you are coming back from the ferry. The view of Snowdon about 5 miles before you cross the Menai Straits is breathtaking. I never tire of it and see it at least once a week when I go to visit my friend in Holyhead.

Hae a great time in Ireland..North Wales is a beautiful place especially the little villages..

What a lovely place.Staying here overnight and catching ferry to Ireland in the morning.The scenery around Snowndon is beautiful.
