HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU SKIM THROUGH A BOOK ON THE PAST 100 YEARS OR SO AGO LOOK AT A PICTURE OF A FAMILY BUT NOT NOTICE IF THE FAMILY ARE NAMED YOU COULD JUST HAVE THAT PICTURE THAT WOULD MAKE SOMEONE SO HAPPY
I FOUND A SUCH BOOK RECENTLY AND IT HAD A NAME ON ONE PHOTO HAVNT BEEN ABLE TO LINK WITH MINE BUT ANOTHER MEMBER HAS FOUND HER
MISSING FAMILY,HER GRANDAD AGE 7 HIS 13 BROTHERS AND SISTERS,AND HER GREAT GRANDPARENTS THIS WAS FROM A BOOK I N THE CHARITY SHOP,

I love old books, so when i find one i always try and look through. Had some old bibles, named, but unfortunately after lots of tries, no one came forward. Such a shame

Yes very lucky indeed. Although i did find a book written locally about the village my family came from and mine were in it. So that was good.

I have many many items that belong to someones family but try and link them is a uphill struggle even after you find a link ........Ive got a member listed on here grandfathers ww1 medals but they havnt replied so its their loss.....Ive got a stack of memorial cards for one family again no reply,,,,,also about 200 1902--1930 P/C written and sent by another family links to a gr tree but maybe they arent members now.......plus many other items........I just cant be bothered to spend time researching these days when its been a dead loss to freely reunite.
