If you did, do you know what that little metal book, the expert's buy. was called? Someone phoned and I could see the picture but not hear lol.

According to OH, it was a souvenir from a Glasgow Exhibition in 1902. I missed it unfortunately. Hope this helps RR. Cx :-)

Thanks GB i have just looked on I player but not on there unfortunately, will check again though in case it is put on later?.

Thanks Cynthia I was hoping it had a particular 'name' that I could then google, I have something similar with Napoleon on it and tiny photos of Paris, I've assumed it was a souvenir of 'The Grand Tour' but never known what its proper title was, if any.

They called it a Pendant Souvenir Book , it sold for £100 , was a pretty little thing full of black and white photo's and designed for the Great Exhibition 1901 .
